Batons
Batons are defensive tools used to defend against attackers or animals. It is undeniably important to note that they are primarily used for self-defence, rescue purposes or emergency situations. You must bear in mind that a blow to the head, neck or vital organs with a baton can also be fatal. Various accessories can be purchased for batons, such as a pry bar, light or holster.
Classic, Police Batons
Classic one-piece batons are made from tough polyethylene. They are solid and durable, intended for police and security forces. They are also suitable for use in a car, for example to break a window in an accident and similar situations. They come in various lengths and their disadvantage is that you cannot simply carry them in your hand around town without attracting attention.
Telescopic Batons
Telescopic batons are manufactured in the Czech Republic by ESP (Euro Security Products), one of the world's largest manufacturers of telescopic batons and defence tools. Opening them requires a horizontal or diagonal swing. They are produced in various lengths and have the undeniable advantage over classic batons that they can be carried directly on a belt. They usually include a holster with the option to attach to a belt. They are not visible and often allow the element of surprise. They are fitted with a special ridged rubber handle that ensures a better grip.
Non-hardened telescopic batons are not heat-treated and may bend under a strong impact. They are intended primarily for personal self-defence and are essentially single-use. Once you strike hard with them, the slight deformation means the telescopic baton can no longer be collapsed. If you want to use a baton for professional or rescue purposes, we recommend a hardened telescopic baton. It is made so that its steel will not bend even with frequent use.
