Carabiners and Quickdraws
A wide range of climbing carabiners and quickdraw sets from manufacturer Petzl. Quickdraws consist of two carabiners with a wire or solid gate and one sewn sling. Their main role is to create a flexible connection between anchor points and the rope. Available in sizes: 10, 11, 12 and 17 cm. The range also includes HMS carabiners, oval carabiners, D-shaped carabiners, via ferrata carabiners and steel Maillon carabiners.
HMS Carabiners (H type)
These are typically pear-shaped carabiners and are designed for belaying and abseiling. You can choose from carabiners with a screw-lock or automatic ball-lock gate.
Oval (X type)
Carabiners that are among the most affordable. They are not used for directly catching falls because they do not have the strength of D-shaped carabiners. They are used more in combination with other belay devices such as pulleys. Available are oval carabiners with both screw-lock and automatic gates.
D-shaped
These are the most versatile carabiners and serve various purposes depending on whether the gate has a locking mechanism or not. The asymmetric D carabiner tapers on one side, which allows for even further weight reduction. They are suitable for lead belaying and self-belaying.
Maillon
Stainless steel carabiners with a nut, which are highly specific due to their load capacity. They are often used as anchor points or to create a connection point for harnesses. In our range you will find 5 Maillon-type carabiners from manufacturers Petzl and Altus.
Via Ferrata Carabiners (K type)
Via ferrata carabiners are more robust than other types, as they are used on secured "via ferrata" routes. They are generally fitted with an automatic gate lock. Two models and one via ferrata fall absorber — Scorpio — are available.
