Camping loungers do not aim to compete with regular beds or hammocks, but equally they leave no room for debate about their merits while camping. Loungers offer proper stability and durability and, thanks to good ergonomics, enable rest after an exhausting hike or a demanding night by the water.

Do Not Underestimate Choosing a Lounger

Choosing the right lounger depends on the intended use. As a general rule, for longer camping stays it is advisable to choose more stable loungers that can be adjusted depending on whether you want to lie down or sit; for shorter camping trips simpler models are sufficient. It is also worth paying attention to the material — folding loungers with a nylon insert have proved very practical.

It is also worth considering lounger accessories. When camping, a small table to place refreshments or a book on is a welcome addition; near water or when fishing, insect nets also come in handy.
