How to Choose a Punching Bag

Speedballs / Double-End Bags

These are suitable for conditioning training and help improve reflexes, punch speed and eye coordination. In our range you will find bags in a lower price category made from synthetic leather, and higher-end options made from quality, sturdy buffalo leather. Also available is a water-filled punching bag from manufacturer Impact Sport, which is gentler on the joints thanks to its water fill.

Punching Bags

You can choose from bags suitable for indoor or outdoor use, for training in all contact sports — boxing, kickboxing and Thai boxing. The Outdoor model weighing 70 kg, from manufacturer Katsudo, is ideal for outdoor use. It is sold pre-filled and is suitable for advanced and experienced boxers.

For practising kicks we have the Katsudo Big Boy bag weighing 60 kg. In addition to classic punching bags, you will also find spherical punching bags from the same manufacturer in our range.

The weight of a punching bag should correspond to approximately half the weight of the boxer themselves. More experienced boxers also use heavier bags. Lighter bags are recommended for beginners. An important factor when choosing a punching bag is also its height, if you want to practise kicks in addition to punches.
