Scarves and Neck Warmers
One famous English proverb says the devil is in the details. In our case, it is more likely in clothing accessories, which — despite their often understated appearance — frequently attract more attention than some of the more dominant pieces of clothing. Honestly, this is hardly surprising, as many of these pieces have a stylish designer character that would not be out of place among the most prestigious clothing brands.
Do not be misled, however. It did not stop at well-thought-out design. Scarves, shawls and neck warmers from the portfolio of renowned manufacturers Pentagon, Mil-Tec, MFH, Malfini and M-Tramp are fully functional and when needed, can not only protect against adverse weather but also contribute to perfect camouflage. An excellent example are the sniper mesh scarves — but let us not get ahead of ourselves and go through them in order.
Neck Scarves
Scarves have a remarkable history. They were used by the ancient Egyptians, at one time worn by the Romans, common around the necks of adventurers and soldiers in the Wild West era, and desert peoples used them for protection against the sun and sand. As it seems, however, nothing has changed about their popularity today.
Neck scarves from manufacturers Mil-Tec, MFH and Malfini remain a sought-after fashion accessory and a practical aid that protects from the burning sun in summer and from unpleasant wind and cold in winter. Wearing scarves, like wearing other clothing items such as T-shirts, is in principle subject to no strict rules. They can be worn in several ways and during various outdoor or sporting activities. A scarf on the neck or under a helmet can today be seen not only on members of armed forces but also on motorcyclists, cyclists and skiers. Available are multifunctional and tactical scarves in camouflage finish, as well as classic solid-colour or civilian designs.
Shawls / Scarves
A scarf not only warms pleasantly but also enhances our appearance. It goes well with a T-shirt, shirt, jumper, jacket or coat. A separate category are Sniper mesh scarves made from polyamide or quality cotton, which are designed for everyday wear and rapid camouflage.
A scarf can to some extent replace other camouflage means. The surface area of a scarf can reach up to 2 m2, so when thrown over the head or shoulders the owner has interesting cover options. Observing the surroundings is straightforward thanks to the mesh, highly transparent material. The Sniper scarf can naturally also be used for weapon camouflage. In our range you will find scarves in camouflage finish as well as solid-colour alternatives.
Neck Warmers
An excellent alternative to scarves or headwraps during sporting or outdoor activities are practical neck warmers, which keep the neck and head warm. A neck warmer in the backpack takes up little space, yet in the field you always have it to hand when needed.
As for colour options, there is something for everyone. Available are understated neck warmers in camouflage or solid neutral finish, but if good visibility is desired you can opt for neck warmers in vibrant colours.
Keffiyehs
The Palestinian scarf with its characteristic black-and-white pattern was made famous in the past by the leader of the Palestinian liberation movement, Yasser Arafat. Over the years, however, the scarf became a phenomenon that transcended the symbolism of the Palestinian struggle for independence and became a clothing accessory suitable for everyday wear.
The peoples of the Middle East used this scarf to protect themselves from sun, wind and sand, and this clothing accessory will find similar applications in our conditions. Keffiyehs protect from sunstroke in summer and from freezing north winds and cold in winter. They come in a fairly wide palette of colours and patterns. Naturally, keffiyehs in olive tones suitable for camouflaging the face or gear are not missing either.
