The Japanese word "Imori" can be translated as "alpine dwarf". Inspired by this motif, you can find small newt elements on the ornaments. The sharp blade is made from hand-forged carbon steel 1045 in Shinogi-Zukuri style with Bo-Hi. The handle is traditionally wrapped in dark blue cotton in Katate-Maki-Style, backed with genuine ray skin leather. The black, lacquered scabbard features high-quality cotton Sageo.
