Headwear
The following military headwear can serve multiple purposes. We offer several types that differ from one another, but essentially all headwear faithfully serves its wearer, whether for health protection, fashion or practical purposes. Even professional armies and police forces include headwear as part of their uniform.
Headwear is Not Just a Fashion Accessory
Beanies are fashion accessories but also useful companions. Why not look good while also feeling sufficiently protected? Thanks to the appropriate materials, military headwear effectively guards against external influences. Do you think army beanies, balaclavas, scarves or hats are completely unnecessary? It is important to realise that the head is the centre of perception and governs the functioning of the whole body. State forces know this well — you will never see a soldier on duty without headwear in the form of a helmet, beret or cap!
Effective Protection from Sun and Heat
During walks, hikes or trips we are exposed to the sun, whose rays in the summer months beat down unpleasantly on our heads. The body is made up mainly of fluid that continually evaporates. Thermal regulation is therefore just as important as staying hydrated.
Headwear also helps with proper temperature regulation. Ideal are military hats from manufacturer MFH or military scarves, which can be dampened in hot weather to cool the head. Headwear simultaneously creates shade for the head and eyes. Did you know that baseball players needed an accessory to shade the sun when tracking the ball? And so — the baseball cap was born.
Wind and Frost Are No Friends Either
Winter is a punishment for some and a passion for others. Either way, each of us must somehow defend against unpleasant frost and wind. An effective solution is a beanie, which insulates the head and prevents heat loss. An interesting fact is that due to the blood supply to the brain, up to 70% of body heat escapes through the head. Worth considering whether to take headwear into the mountains in winter, don’t you think? Ideal are fur hats and earflap hats, though quality balaclavas are suitable under a ski helmet.
