Pentagon Eris Nomex balaclava in black is manufactured from Nomex™ by Du Pont®, a flame-resistant fabric with outstanding protective properties. This balaclava is designed to specification US MIL-DTL-81188C and meets the standard STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®. The material is a knit with a weight of 250-260 g/m² (± 3 %) and contains aramid fibre, which provides inherent flame resistance that cannot be washed out or worn away. The balaclava is resistant to tearing and abrasion, does not melt or drip, which increases safety during prolonged exposure and higher temperatures. Thanks to antistatic properties and exceptional durability, it provides valuable time to escape in case of danger.
