An alternative for spectacle wearers is Fit-over sunglasses, which can simply be worn over regular spectacles. Quick to use, good fit and prescription spectacles are barely visible. The lenses completely filter out UV radiation with a wavelength of up to 400 nm, so no harmful UV-A, UV-B or UV-C rays reach the eye. Between 8 % and 18 % of light can pass through the spectacles. This corresponds to filter category 3 for protection against strong sunlight. Wider lenses provide additional protection against light irritation. The sunglasses lenses are polarised. This means that on one side reflections are significantly reduced – for example on water – and on the other side contrast is increased, so outlines and colours are clearer and more distinct. Supplied with a slide case and cleaning cloth.
