WHEN OIL IS NOT ENOUGH

Some beards simply refuse to obey, and oil won’t talk them round. To the nourishment of shea butter, lanolin and natural oils, Steve adds more waxes, so besides caring for your beard it also guides it more firmly. It won’t turn it into a helmet (that’s what wax is for), but it handles a long, stiff beard much better than softer balms.

WARMTH IS KEY

A firmer consistency is the price of firmer styling. So first warm the balm thoroughly in your palms until it softens, and only then spread it through your beard down to the skin. With a long beard, it’s worth reaching for a brush and adding a little warm air from a hairdryer. If you want a hold one notch firmer, you can mix it in your palm with Beardich B wax.

Usage:

Warm it up first: scoop out with your finger as much as your beard’s length calls for and rub it between your palms until it softens. Then distribute it through your beard, moustache and onto the skin underneath, and finish the shape with a comb or brush. 1 to 2 times a day is enough, ideally before heading out; you can rub the rest from your palms into your hair.

Shea butter, lanolin and coconut, almond and argan oils nourish the beard and skin. An increased proportion of beeswax and carnauba wax ensures firmer styling and a protective layer against external influences.
