NOURISHMENT FROM THE ROOTS

Beard care starts with the skin underneath. That’s why the oil belongs right down at the roots: there it slows down water evaporation, and the skin stops feeling tight, itching and shedding dandruff. Along the length of the beard, almond, argan, avocado and oat oils get to work – they soften the hair, give it suppleness and help keep it from breaking. Thanks to a light emollient and vitamin E, the beard stays shiny but not greasy.

ON A DAMP BEARD

Drops of oil don’t add water – they only keep it where it already is. So it makes the most sense on a damp beard and skin, for example right after showering or after applying Beard Hydro, before the water has time to evaporate. 3 drops are enough for a shorter beard; a long, thick one can take up to 6.

SOFT TO THE TOUCH A few drops turn a scouring pad into a beard you’ll want to stroke. PEACE UNDER THE BEARD The skin under your beard retains moisture for longer, so it itches less and flakes less. SHINE, NOT GREASINESS Vitamin E together with a light emollient ensures a healthy shine without greasiness. URBAN TWOFINGER SCENT Spicy and woody: almonds, flowers, patchouli, sandalwood, vanilla and cedar. Since it sits right under your nose, you’ll be the first to enjoy it.

Usage:

The oil belongs on a damp beard and skin, so moisten them with water first. Use the dropper to measure 3 to 6 drops into your palm, warm them between your fingers and work them into the hair right down to the skin. Treat a long beard at the ends first, as they dry out the fastest, and gradually work your way to the roots. Finally, briefly massage the skin and comb or brush your beard; 1 to 2 times a day is enough.

A quartet of almond, argan, avocado and oat oils is responsible for nourishment, softness and less breakage. Vitamin E contributes antioxidants, and a light emollient makes spreading and absorption easier.
