The term GunCer is composed of the words "gun" (weapon) and "cer" (ceramic). Gun-Cer tuning with ceramic particles is a high-tech weapon oil from Ballistol and was specially developed for precision shooters, hunters and law enforcement agencies. Gun-Cer is suitable for all rifles and pistols.
- Ceramic additives ensure functional performance and shooting accuracy of the weapon and reduce wear by smoothing out irregularities. The premium ceramic additive settles in the depth of metal roughness, thereby ensuring a completely smooth surface structure. This significantly reduces metal roughness, which consequently results in significantly lower resistance. Particularly with smaller calibres or weak ammunition, roughness depths can even lead to jamming. With other ammunition, roughness depths have "only" a negative effect on accuracy and consistency. The use of GunCer eliminates these problems.
- Note: GunCer is available not only as a pistol oil, but also as a pistol lubricant with ceramic additive.
- GunCer in the pistol barrel In the barrel, GunCer deposits on the lands and in the grooves. In this way, GunCer provides not only excellent corrosion protection, but also the lowest possible resistance, and thus maximum shooting accuracy. Ceramic particles ensure first-class dry lubrication even at temperatures above 1000 °C.
- GunCer on the slide GunCer smooths the sliding surfaces and lubricates the bearings. This achieves the desired ease of movement and practically eliminates malfunctions, especially in semi-automatic firearms. The premium pistol oil reduces power loss during cycling and is especially recommended for weak ammunition, as it can easily lose accuracy due to normal pistol steel roughness.
- GunCer in the rails GunCer ensures that the rails do not deflect and stretch. The accuracy of the weapon is thus preserved for a long time.
- GunCer on the trigger mechanism GunCer reduces trigger resistance. Ceramic particles accumulate, thus ensuring smooth and pleasant trigger properties.
- Temperature range and emergency operating properties of GunCer The temperature range of the pistol oil ranges from -40 °C to +210 °C. Small ceramic particles create what is known as emergency running property, which extends even above 1000 °C. Emergency running properties mean that ceramic particles take over the "lubrication function" even when no oil is present.
- GunCer provides first-class corrosion protection, is water-resistant, does not foam and contains no silicone or PTFE additives.
