• The impregnation spray must ensure that surfaces are water-repellent. The impregnation layer should remain invisible and protect against moisture, UV radiation and dirt.
• Treated surfaces remain much cleaner after spraying and look much better. The lifespan of impregnated materials is extended.
• Areas of use and possible applications of universal impregnation Ballistol impregnation spray Ballistol is successfully used in many areas. The list provided here is therefore only an example.
• Impregnation spray for boots have the longest lifespan when they are resistant to dirt and water. If you use Ballistol impregnation spray on boots, you will achieve exactly this result. Boot impregnation is very effective and long-lasting. Different boot materials are not a problem. It is suitable for smooth leather, suede and artificial leather and even textile boots.
• Trainers and chucks in particular are often made from different materials. Here only a universal impregnation spray can provide the necessary protection. Ballistol does not reduce fabric breathability - this also applies to mesh, Gore-Tex and other functional fabrics.
• Impregnation spray for suede boots
• Our product is also suitable for suede. When applying, however, ensure that you follow our instructions to avoid staining.
• Impregnation spray for jackets and other clothing Different materials in one garment are more the rule than the exception. Therefore, it is recommended to use universal impregnation spray on jackets, trousers and other clothing. You can use Ballistol impregnation spray for example to impregnate the following materials:
• Rain jacket, down jacket and winter jacket Ski jacket and ski suits Leather jacket, rain trousers and functional clothing Coats, anoraks and jumpers Sports clothing, hiking equipment, outdoor clothing etc. Typical oiled leathers, such as yellow mackintoshes and wellington boots, are sufficiently protected by the material. You should not impregnate such materials. Such materials are better impregnated with silicone spray.
• Impregnation spray for convertible roof: Convertible roof impregnation is not permanent and must sometimes be renewed. You can do this yourself. Ballistol impregnation spray is exactly what ensures that rain and dirt from the soft roof run off completely. If you spray the clean soft roof twice or three times, the water-repellent protection will last very long. Between individual treatments, allow the convertible top to dry for 12 hours. Avoid exposure to intense sunlight.
• Impregnation spray for tents When impregnating tents and awnings, it is important to maintain the breathability of the fabric. Otherwise, clothing and sleeping bags will be damp from perspiration. This also applies in dry weather.
• For small tents or awnings, impregnation spray is sufficient. However, if you want to impregnate large tents, liquid impregnation product is much more suitable, as it can be applied more quickly.
• Water-repellent spray for awnings and parasols Breathability is not a problem with awnings and parasols. The impregnation spray's task is "only" to ensure that the surface is water-repellent and repels dirt. This is a very simple task for Ballistol impregnation spray - see for example the video on this page. Our liquid impregnation product is again more suitable for large areas, such as awnings. You can spray the liquid product for example with a hand sprayer or pressure spray gun.
