The Sierra range from Barr & Stroud features robust construction combined with brilliant optics. They are waterproof to a depth of 1.5 m for three minutes. This requires a high degree of mechanical quality in binocular construction and ensures that you can use the binoculars in any weather. This capability is further enhanced by a rubber-armoured body that protects it from shock and impact.
These binoculars are filled with nitrogen, which prevents internal fogging in adverse weather conditions.
Fully multi-coated optics is standard in the Barr & Stroud Sierra range as well as BAK-4 prisms. This ensures that as much light as possible is transmitted through the optics, resulting in a super-clear image even in poor lighting conditions and preventing dramatic loss of performance.
For user comfort, the binoculars are supplied with rubber eyecups that are practical for people to use with or without glasses. The focusing mechanism is designed so that you can focus from a minimum to infinity in less than one turn of the control wheel.
This means you can track the action as quickly as it happens.
The Sierra binoculars are supplied with a carrying case, attached lens caps, straps and a lens cleaning cloth.
