Opera Unicore is an ultralight rope with a diameter of only 8.5 mm, certified as a single, half and twin rope. Beal Opera rope in the fully impregnated Golden Dry version (core and sheath impregnation) is suitable for winter disciplines such as mountaineering or technical ice climbing, but due to its minimal diameter it is suitable only for very experienced climbers. With a weight of 48 g/m it is the lightest rope on the market certified as a single rope. All Opera rope variants are equipped with UNICORE® technology, which by combining the core and sheath increases rope safety and durability.
Golden Dry impregnation meets the international UIAA Water Repellent standard with 3% water absorption.
