ESD non-metallic safety sandals with a composite toe cap that protects the toes. The footwear also has a scuff cap over the toe and an anatomically shaped ESD gel insole that supports the longitudinal and transverse arch. The thick layer of gel filling in the heel area absorbs impacts and helps when the foot is under long or excessive load, both standing still and in motion.
