SKIMO Nanotech are aluminium crampons with 10 points and front steel points, specially developed for ski mountaineering. The crampon construction is based on ultralight aluminium 7075. Front points made from highly durable stainless steel Sandvik Nanoflex enable safe climbing even on steeper frozen and iced slopes. A major advantage of the CAMP SKIMO Nanotech crampons is the central connecting bar, which has holes drilled asynchronously in two rows, allowing more precise crampon size adjustment. Another feature is the ability to adapt the size to smaller boots by simply moving the connecting bar towards the heel edge. The arms can thus be easily adjusted to boot sizes 210 - 330 mm (EU size 36 - 46). SKIMO Nanotech crampons are prepared for boots with a front trapeze, which can also be rotated and adapted so the crampons fit boots that have a lower front trapeze than standard boots. Crampons can also be optimised for footwear without a toe bail; simply purchase the corresponding CAMP SKIMO Semi-Automatic Toe Bail accessory. SKIMO Nanotech crampons also allow you to replace the central connecting bar with a CAMP Skimo Dyneema connecting strap, further reducing the weight of the crampons and the size of your rucksack.
