CAMP Corsa RACE at 185 grammes is currently the lightest certified ice axe in the world and should not be missing from your mandatory equipment. Ski mountaineering is specially designed for competitive ski mountaineering, where emphasis is placed on the lowest possible weight of mandatory equipment. During races you will barely feel it on your back and it will provide you with the necessary support in action. The ingenious design of the entire head allows a new way of attaching the CAMP Corsa Leash lead (not included in the packaging) and thanks to its special shape and cut, Corsa RACE maintains perfect manoeuvrability. Anti-slip effect is ensured by machine-cut grooves in the grip areas. It is made from an aluminium alloy that meets all CE and UIAA requirements for strength and durability.
The lower part of the upper section is equipped with a nylon plug that prevents snow accumulation. You stand at the start of major competitions and with confidence in the lightest CAMP equipment, you know that during a demanding competitive day you will use the energy that your equipment saves you.

This ice axe is not suitable for glacier or mixed climbing.
