You had been planning a visit to Pitztal valley for some time and now you are standing on the front peaks and holding on to glaciers at one of the many local glaciers. A dizzying depth beneath your feet, endless ice above you, you are in a belay position and you release the Camp Rocket screw from the slot on your harness. The thread pitch is ideally set for easy screwing in, the thread height for secure anchoring and the flip-out handle allows rapid drilling into the hardest ice. You clip in the belay carabiner and the tension drains from you for a moment. For better orientation in the material, Camp Rocket screws are distinguished by the colour of the handle. With practised movements you climb up the wall to the next anchor and using the overhanging wall you descend to the anchor. Wind blows snow into your face, frost creeps into your gloves and you catch up with your partner. You shake hands and together you abseil back to the start.
