Highly durable steel quickdraw made from 6 mm steel rope. The carabiner attachment eyes are fitted with a steel insert on the inside, which prevents the carabiner from abrading against the rope. The middle section including the end is enclosed in a transparent plastic protector, which both protects the rope from fraying and environmental damage, and makes it easy to inspect the condition of the steel core if needed. Steel permanent quickdraws are used on climbing walls, outdoor sport routes or on shared projects – simply anywhere the quickdraw is not removed from the anchor point. A huge advantage, besides being many times more durable than standard nylon quickdraws, is that it is harder to steal thanks to the screw-lock carabiner used here (CAMP Oval Quick Link; 10 mm). The CAMP Gym Safe with anti-rotation lock is most commonly used as the second carabiner for securing the rope.
