Piu 2.0 is a next-generation belay device specially designed for the popular generation of thinner ropes. When the rope bends over the belay edge of the device, the notches help the belayer grip the rope better and increase the efficiency of rope braking, especially with thinner diameters. The CAMP PIU 2.0 belay device allows the device to be switched into automatic belay mode – thanks to the large opening through which the device can be clipped to a harness using a carabiner. If you need to release the belay in automatic locking mode, simply attach another carabiner to the front opening (for example CAMP HMS Nitro or CAMP HMS Core Lock), which is designed specifically for slow rope release under load.
