Turbolock is a self-locking pulley designed for exceptional compactness, robustness and efficiency. Special shaping allows simple one-handed operation of the pulley. A secure locking mechanism allows rope to be inserted or removed without the pulley disconnecting from the anchor point. At the same time, the Turbolock pulley cannot be opened under load, preventing accidental opening. The toothed cam is designed for instant and efficient locking of ropes with a diameter of 8–13 mm. The cam is activated by a switch that is protected inside the pulley to prevent accidental activation. Simple pulley opening for rope insertion/removal or to activate or deactivate the cam. Turbolock can be used as a simple pulley without a lock or with a lock thanks to cam locking. The pulley allows maximum rotation and offers a wide range of uses. Thanks to the large pulley diameter and sealed bearings, the pulley efficiency is 95%. High durability of the robust construction is achieved by heat-forged side plates, precisely machined aluminium pulley and steel cam.
