We present a small new addition to the Black Fly throwing knife range - Black Fly. COLD STEEL throwing knives are very popular in the throwing community, so we decided to create a new, more affordable range of mid-tier sports throwing knives. These sports models are somewhat thinner and lighter than our standard throwing knives. We have focused on weight distribution and shape to ensure comfortable handling. Knives from this line are used primarily in amateur competitions, but you will also enjoy plenty of fun throwing them with family or friends. Tool-grade carbon steel with 0.55% carbon, 0.6 to 0.9% manganese and other alloys. Steel hardness is 60 to 64 HRC. Thanks to the carbon content and low alloy content, this shallow-hardened steel is a very strong material that is not prone to brittleness, which is otherwise typical of steels with higher carbon content. It is suitable for the manufacture of blades subjected to stress and impact, such as large solid knives and swords.
