Our Spike knives are thin, lightweight and highly durable. The knife design was developed in collaboration between knife designer Barry Dawson from Dawson Knives and Cold Steel. Spike knives are designed as concealed carry knives, particularly for neck carry. Their sharp and slender blades are complemented by a handle with deep moulding and texture for a comfortable grip. These ergonomic Spike handles are also finished with a shaped small guard in front of the blade, which allows you to clench your thumb against your forefinger when attempting to apply force for a deep cut. The distinctly moulded Griv-Ex handle provides a non-slip surface, even when your hands are cold, wet and slippery. The Spike knife is available in four different blade shapes (Bowie, Drop Point, Tokyo and Tanto point). The knife blade is made from German 4110 material. Fine-grained stainless steel from Thyssen Krupp (Germany), which is commonly used in the pharmaceutical industry and in kitchen tools. The carbon and chromium content is balanced for excellent corrosion resistance and strength. Blades made from this steel can be sharpened well, making them suitable for bushcraft and outdoor knives. The G-10 handle has a fine structure with a roughened surface for better and safer grip. Its shape with deep moulding, texture and finger recesses ensures that the knife will not slip from your hand in any situation, whilst also allowing you to apply sufficient force for cutting. The knife comes with a Secure-Ex sheath, which protects both you and the blade, and a safety neck chain.
