Counter Point I by COLD STEEL is part of the EDC knife range. Counter Point has high corrosion and contamination resistance. It features a very sharp and durable blade made from Japanese AUS 10A steel. This martensitic stainless steel has excellent strength properties and is used primarily as a material for cutting tools. Compared to AUS 8A steel, it holds an edge better and is more resistant to wear. The steel was subsequently heat-treated to achieve the perfect balance between edge retention and easy re-sharpening. Thanks to a strong tip, the knife provides excellent penetration through material. The Counter Point I knife has a false upper blade section, so only the lower part of the blade requires sharpening. The handle is made from Griv-Ex material and is reinforced with heat-treated aluminium inserts. As a result, Counter Point is not only very robust, but also comfortable and safe. It is suitable for concealed carry.
