Counter Point XL by COLD STEEL is part of the EDC knife range. Counter Point has high resistance to corrosion and contamination. It features a very sharp and durable blade made from Japanese AUS 10A steel. This martensitic stainless steel has very good strength properties and is used primarily as a material for cutting tools. Compared to AUS 8A steel, it holds an edge better and is more resistant to wear. The steel was subsequently heat-treated to achieve the perfect balance between edge retention and easy re-sharpening. Thanks to a strong tip, the knife provides very excellent penetration through material. The Counter Point XL knife has a false upper edge, so only the lower part of the blade is sharpened. The handle is made from Griv-Ex material and is reinforced with heat-treated aluminium inserts. Because of this, Counter Point is not only very strong, but also comfortable and safe. It is suitable for concealed carry.
