The GI Tanto is designed for extreme use thanks to its all-stainless steel construction. The tanto-shaped blade is made from 1055 carbon steel protected by an anti-corrosion coating. The blade is exceptionally durable and the edge is very easy to sharpen even in adverse conditions. The handle is made from moulded polymer and is attached to the knife body with two screws. This makes the knife practically unbreakable. It is suitable for use in extreme conditions and can be used for throwing techniques. The knife comes with a Secure-ex sheath.
