Most outdoor enthusiasts want two things from their knife. To attach it simply to their clothing or kit, and for it to perform well during camping. That is why we are now bringing a Drop Point blade to the Voyager range, which has proven to be very versatile and ideal especially for hunting and outdoor knives. This blade shape, which has more pronounced curvature near the tip, has shown itself to be better for all cutting and slicing activities and also makes work easier when skinning game. The 3.5 mm thick blade is made from AUS 10A steel. This martensitic, stainless steel has very good strength properties and is sold primarily as a material for cutting tools. Compared with AUS 8A, it holds an edge better and is more resistant to wear. The steel was then heat-treated to achieve the perfect balance between edge retention and easy re-sharpening. The Stonewashing surface finish prevents easy scratching and increases the knife's resistance to corrosion. The handle with pronounced texturing is made by high-pressure injection moulding from Griv-Ex™ material, which is sufficiently strong in itself. The surface structure of the handle prevents accidental slipping of the knife when working in wet conditions. The knife is equipped with a two-sided opening pin and this range of knives is also equipped with the unique Cold Steel® Tri-Ad Lock™ patent. The lock prevents the knife from closing accidentally or unintentionally even after natural wear over time. The package also includes a clip for carrying on the left side.
