The Warcraft Tanto product range is designed as a modern military knife for armed forces. A 5 mm thick blade with robust full tang construction, which runs through the entire shaped handle, provides the knife with exceptional performance. Excellent grip in the hand and its greater weight emphasise technique when performing cuts. Our knives made with San Mai III technology have been the domain of Cold Steel for decades. San Mai III technology is based on the methods of Japanese sword makers. It is a sandwich construction blade made from layers of different hardness. Whilst the middle layer is made from hard steel with high carbon content, the top two layers are made from much harder steel to prevent cracking of the middle layer. As a result, the blade is maximally resistant to loss of edge without the risk of breaking. These luxury blades, however, are made only in limited numbers. High carbon stainless steel VG-10 was used in the manufacture of this blade. The 3D worked handle made from G-10 material is fully ergonomic. The knife is available in three sizes.
