The Marauder knife from Cold Steel is an extremely robust knife with a blade thickness of 5 mm. The blade is manufactured so that its centre of gravity is concentrated in the first third of the knife. The blade widens slightly towards the tip, so you can use it to cut through small tree growth or perform batoning. The knife is designed for bushcraft enthusiasts and is named after the famous unit of the American Army (Merrill's Marauders) from World War II. The blade is made from Japanese AUS 8A steel. This stainless steel has very good strength properties and is used primarily as a material for cutting tools. The steel was subsequently heat-treated for perfect balance between blade retention and easy re-sharpening. The Marauder handle in Kraton (Long Kray-Ex™) maximises the knife's potential. The handle is perfectly shaped and offers a non-slip surface. It fits perfectly in your hand and absorbs impacts from strong strikes. The knife comes with a Secure-Ex sheath, which protects both you and the blade.
