Master Hunter VG-1 San Mai III® The blade of the Master Hunter knife is made from VG-1 steel. San Mai III technology is a sandwich blade made from layers of steel of varying hardness. Whilst the middle layer is hard, high-carbon steel, the top two layers are made from much harder steel to prevent cracking of the middle layer. This makes the blade maximally resistant to loss of edge without the risk of breaking. These luxury blades are, however, manufactured only in limited numbers. The perfectly shaped knife handle made from Kraton material (Long Kray-Ex™) offers a non-slip surface. It fits perfectly in the hand and allows even very fine manipulation of the knife in wet and muddy environments. The package includes a Secure-Ex sheath, which protects both you and the knife. The importer provides an extended 5-year warranty on this knife.
