The Ranch Boss knife was originally designed for farmers, people working in agriculture or other environments where a knife is extremely stressed by the weather. However, its features have also been appreciated by occasional gardeners, hunters and foresters, or anyone who enjoys spending time in nature. For this reason, Cold Steel came up with a more affordable version of this folding knife, the Ranch Boss II. This knife is made with utility, durability and price in mind. The blade is made from SK-5 carbon steel. The steel exhibits high toughness, holds an edge very well and has great resistance to abrasion. Its flat grind is probably the most suitable solution for this type of knife. The handle is made from hard plastic in a traditional bone pattern and is reinforced with steel liners. The knife is sold with a rigid leather sheath.
