The Direct Action HALIFAX® Small rucksack is a smaller and simpler version of the HALIFAX® Medium model. Its large main compartment is fitted with a long YKK® zip, which allows quick and easy access to the rucksack's contents. The front and rear walls of the compartment are lined with soft velour, which allows attachment of additional accessories. In addition, the rear wall is covered with a laser-cut modular system compatible with MOLLE/PALS, which allows customisation of the rucksack according to individual needs and preferences. On the upper side of the front wall there is also a mesh zip pocket.

On the outside, on the upper flap there are two small zip pockets. One of them has a soft, velour-lined interior, which prevents scratching, making it ideal for carrying glasses. At its height there is a large panel with a loop, which allows personalised identification or placement of a "friend-foe" marker. Below are two flat pockets with diagonal, vertical zips and a vertical "hundred-crown patch" between them. A modular panel perpendicular to the chain (corresponding to one column of the MOLLE/PALS system) is used below to allow attachment of additional narrow pockets. The rucksack is also fitted with a laser-cut modular system on the sides, which corresponds to three rows and three columns of the MOLLE/PALS system. Below the modular panels are partially elastic pockets for carrying water bottles or bladders. The upper part of the side panels has openings for the passage of hydration system tubing.

To ensure user comfort, the wide straps are lined with softshell and filled with soft foam. This provides comfort even when carrying a fully loaded rucksack. In addition to the reinforced back panel, there are five specially shaped pads, which not only increase comfort when carrying, but also improve air circulation.

A chest strap and minimalist hip strap with removable options stabilise the rucksack during use. Side compression straps allow you to adjust the rucksack's dimensions according to its contents.
