The compact THUNDERBOLT® chest rig is a combination of two of DIRECT ACTION®'s most acclaimed chest rigs with additional feedback from our end users. This small yet versatile rig features most of the pockets from the popular hybrid HURRICANE® chest rig applied to a platform even smaller than the TIGER MOTH®. With dedicated pockets for magazines, first aid kit and other essentials, it gives you the option to carry everything as close to your body as possible. The horizontal MOLLE/PALS row beneath the pocket section can also be used to attach additional utility pouches. It is fully compatible with our chest rig interface, can be attached to SPITFIRE® and HELLCAT® plate carriers and create a unique rapid deployment platform that is unique to DIRECT ACTION® Gear.
