This type of pouch uses a flat quick-release buckle, which allows rapid one-handed installation on a belt without needing to unfasten the belt. However, the distance between the belt and the magazine is smaller when using this type of buckle. It can also be attached to a load-bearing M.O.L.L.E. system. The magazine can be rotated 360 degrees relative to the belt in 16 locked positions.
