Combined sharpening stone with flip-knife design Fallkniven FS4 Flipstones, offering diamond and ceramic sharpening sides. The handle is black Zytel with stainless steel screws.

The diamond side is coated with titanium aluminium nitride, whilst the ceramic is made from synthetic sapphires. Both materials are exceptionally hard, and they also maintain a smooth and flat surface, which makes the sharpening process easier, even with the hardest special powder steels.

Both stones are bonded together with 3M tape and cannot come apart. They are used dry, although a little soap and water can be used to clean the surface.

Simply push the catch at the top of the handle forwards and press the round button. The steel spring will automatically open and lock in place. To close, press the round button and push the stone in by hand. Flip the catch back to prevent accidental opening.
