The Fenix ARE-A2 universal dual-channel charger is designed for 3.7V / 3.6V Li-ion and NiMH / NiCd rechargeable batteries. Each charging slot is monitored independently, so it is possible to charge batteries of different sizes, capacities and even different chemistries at the same time (Li-ion and NiMH / NiCd can be charged simultaneously). It automatically recognises the inserted battery type and selects the optimal charging algorithm.
The charger can charge Li-ion batteries of the following types: 26650, 22650, 25500, 21700, 20700, 18650, 17670, 18700, 14650, 18500, 18490, 18350, 17500, 14500, 16340, RCR123, 10440 and NiMH batteries of sizes AAA, AA, C. The charger can also charge Li-ion batteries 21700 and 20700 with protection electronics.

• Use of the Fenix ARE-A2 charger

Plug the charger into a socket. The display will light up. After inserting the batteries, the battery type and charging status will be displayed on the display. The button at each charging channel is used to switch the displayed information in the following order: voltage - charging current - charging time. By holding the button down for a long time, you can turn off the display and by pressing it briefly again you can turn it back on and the current battery voltage will be displayed again.

Warning

Do not charge Li-ion cells that have undergone excessive discharge (below 2V).
Do not insert batteries into the charger in reverse (with opposite polarity).
When using the charger, observe safety principles.
We recommend using quality protected Li-ion batteries.
It is not designed for charging LiFePO4 batteries.
