The Fenix ARE-A4 universal four-channel charger is designed for 3.7V / 3.6V Li-ion and NiMH / NiCd rechargeable batteries. Each charging slot is monitored independently, so it is possible to charge batteries of different sizes, capacities and even different types at the same time (Li-ion and NiMH / NiCd can be charged simultaneously). It automatically recognises the inserted battery type and selects the optimal charging algorithm.

In the charger it is possible to charge Li-ion batteries of the following types: 26650, 22650, 25500, 21700, 20700, 18650, 17670, 18700, 14650, 18500, 18490, 18350, 17500, 14500, 16340, RCR123, 10440 and NiMH batteries of sizes AAA, AA, C. Batteries of sizes 26650, 22650, 25500 and C will fit only two pieces in the charger, the other listed sizes can be charged up to four pieces. The charger can also charge protected Li-ion 21700 batteries.

Use of the Fenix ARE-A4 charger
Plug the charger into a socket. The display will light up. After inserting the batteries, the battery type and charging status will be displayed on the display. The button at each charging channel is used to switch the displayed information in the order: voltage - charging current - charging time. By holding the button for a long time it is possible to turn off the display and by pressing it briefly again to turn it on and the current battery voltage will be displayed again. Warning Do not charge Li-ion cells that have gone into an over-discharged state (below 2V). Do not insert batteries into the charger in reverse (opposite polarity). When using the charger, follow safety principles. We recommend using quality protected Li-ion batteries. It is not designed for charging LiFePO4 batteries.
