The rechargeable red rear light Fenix BC06R offers two power levels - 10 and 30 lumens plus a brake light mode - 90 lumens. At both power levels it features fast flashing, slow flashing and constant light modes, and at the lower power level it also offers rotating light. Power comes from a built-in lithium-polymer rechargeable battery with a capacity of 560 mAh, which charges via a USB-C connector directly in the light. The light source is a red LED, hidden beneath a slightly raised optic that creates a wide light cone visible at angles up to 270 degrees. The effective warning distance of the rear light reaches 100 metres. The light weighs just 44.5 grams.

The mounting design allows quick attachment and removal of the light from your bicycle without tools. The clamp fits seat tubes with a diameter of 25.4 to 31.6 millimetres. The package also includes a bracket to mount the rear light on seat stays (the distance between the stays must be between 39 and 50 millimetres). In fast flashing mode at 10 lumens output, runtime reaches up to 24.5 hours. The Fenix BC06R will ensure safe lighting for night training, regular commuting to work and endurance races.

All light parameters (light output, battery runtime, water resistance and beam distance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Using the rear light

To turn on or off hold the button on the light pressed for approximately 0.5 seconds. The light will always turn on in the last used mode except for the 90 lm brake light. You can switch power modes at any time during operation by briefly pressing the button (they cycle in order: low 10 lm - slow flashing 10 lm - fast flashing 10 lm - high 30 lm - slow flashing 30 lm - fast flashing 30 lm - rotating light 10 lm).

Brake light function - if a sudden speed change occurs while the light is on, the light automatically activates the brake light at 90 lumens. After two seconds the light automatically returns to the previous lighting mode.

Battery capacity indicator - with the light off, briefly press the button once, then the button backlight will illuminate for five seconds. Steady green light indicates a battery charge of more than 85%, green flashing indicates approximately 50 - 85% charge, steady red light indicates approximately 25 - 50% charge and red flashing indicates an almost empty battery (less than 25%).

Low battery warning - if the battery voltage drops below 3.0 V, the light will reduce brightness to a lower level and the LED indicator in the button will start flashing red to remind you to recharge.

Charging

• Flip open the rubber cover of the USB-C connector on the back of the light and connect it to a computer, power bank, mains USB adapter or car USB adapter using the supplied cable. You can also use any mobile phone charger with a USB-C connector for charging.
• During charging the button glows red, after full charge it glows green.
• Charging time is approximately 1.5 hours. The Li-pol rechargeable battery used does not suffer from memory effect, so you can recharge the light at any time.
• After charging and removing the power cable, remember to seal the USB connector cover.

Warning

• Do not disassemble sealed parts yourself as this will void the warranty.
• If the light does not switch to a higher mode or does not turn on, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
  • The rechargeable battery is empty – charge it.
