Fenix C7 is a high-performance rechargeable torch that offers a light output of up to 3000 lumens (ANSI) and a beam distance of up to 470 metres. This excellent performance has been achieved using the modern LED Luminus SST-70. Power is supplied by a high-capacity Li-ion rechargeable battery type 21700 with a capacity of 5000 mAh (included in the packaging), which charges directly in the torch via a modern USB-C connector. The torch has been designed with simplicity of operation and broad usability in mind. Seven light modes allow you to choose between high power and long runtime of nearly three days. A blinding strobe and SOS signal for emergency situations are also available. The Fenix C7 is powered by digitally controlled constant current to ensure consistent light output even as battery voltage decreases (during slow discharge). Switching on and changing modes is very simple and is done via a button ergonomically positioned on the side. The torch head is magnetic, so it can be easily attached to anything made of iron. The torch is an ideal lighting tool with an excellent ratio of high performance, quality and price. Thanks to its versatility, it can be recommended for work in industrial sectors, for the home workshop, and at the same time it is an ideal outdoor companion for hiking and various sports activities.

All torch parameters (light output, battery runtime, water resistance, beam distance and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Use

There may be an insulating cover on the rechargeable battery inside the torch from the factory. Remove it from the rechargeable battery before first use.

To switch on or off, hold the side button for approximately 0.5 seconds. You can switch between the power modes 30 - 100 - 400 - 1400 - 3000 lumens at any time during operation by pressing the side button. Activate the strobe by pressing the button for 1.2 seconds (also possible from the off state), then with further button presses you can switch between strobe and SOS modes.

Charging - flip off the rubber cover of the charging connector on the side of the torch and connect the included cable (USB-C connector), connect the other end of the cable to a computer or USB mains adapter or car adapter. During charging, the indicator LED lights red, and when fully charged it lights green. Charging a fully discharged rechargeable battery takes approximately 3 hours (with a 2A power supply).

Intelligent overheat protection - if the torch temperature rises above 60 °C, it will automatically reduce power in gradual steps; as soon as the torch temperature drops below 60 °C, the power will gradually increase again.

Battery charge status indicator - after a short button press (the torch must be off), the LED indicator in the button activates. If the indicator light is green, the battery is charged to more than 85%. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If it lights red, the battery is charged to 25-50%. Red flashing indicates that less than 25% of the battery capacity remains.

Button lock - if you want to prevent accidental switching on of the torch in luggage, press the button twice quickly within 0.5 seconds (the torch must be off), the torch will then flash twice in low mode and cannot be switched on. Unlock by pressing the button twice quickly again. Accidental switching on can also be prevented by loosening the torch battery cap.

Low battery warning - the side button will start flashing red and the light will gradually automatically switch to the lowest mode.

Warning

• Do not disassemble the sealed part in the torch head yourself, as this will void the warranty.
• Use only quality Li-ion 21700 rechargeable batteries to prevent torch damage, for example due to leakage from the battery.
• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the torch will be properly protected against water.
• If the torch is flashing, not switching to higher power, or not lighting up, it could be one of the following reasons:
  • The rechargeable battery is discharged, charge it.
  • The contacts inside the torch are dirty - clean them with a cotton bud soaked in alcohol.
  • The torch body is loose, tighten it.
