Fenix E-CP combines the function of a handheld torch with output of up to 1600 lumens and a power bank with a capacity of 5000 mAh. Power is supplied by a built-in Li-ion rechargeable battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh, which can be charged via a modern USB-C connector. The Luminus SST-40 LED hidden under TIR optics can illuminate up to a distance of 222 metres and in the lowest mode will run for up to 504 hours. The power bank supports fast-charging protocols and can charge at up to 18W (5V/2.4A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A).

Fenix E-CP is an excellent portable EDC torch and power bank in one, for charging your mobile phone and other portable electronics. It will also fit perfectly into your outdoor kit, for example, if you are heading out for an extended period away from mains power.

All torch parameters (light output, battery runtime, water resistance, beam distance and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Use

To switch the torch on/off, press the side button for 0.5 seconds. With the torch on, simple presses of the side button cycle through the modes: 3 – 30 – 150 – 350 – 1600 lumens.

To switch to strobe mode, hold the side button for approximately 1.2 seconds.

The control button can be locked to prevent accidental activation, for example when carrying in luggage – when the torch is off, press the control button twice quickly (within 0.5 seconds).

To unlock, press the button twice quickly again.

Charge status indication – when the torch is off, a single press of the side button activates a four-segment battery/power bank charge indicator hidden under a rubber cover next to the USB connectors.

Intelligent overheat protection – if the torch temperature exceeds 50 °C, the output will automatically reduce.

Once the temperature drops below 50 °C, you will be able to use the highest output again.

Charging the battery/power bank – remove the rear connector cover and connect the supplied cable to the USB-C connector on the torch (USB-C female connector), connect the other end of the cable to a computer, USB adapter to mains power or a car charger (not included in the package).

During charging, the indicator LED glows red and turns green when fully charged.

After charging the torch, replace the connector cover.

Charging a fully discharged battery takes approximately 2 hours with an 18W power source or 3.5 hours with a 5V/2A power source.

The torch can be used during charging in 3, 30 and 150 lumen modes, although charging time will be extended.

Power bank function – switch off the torch and remove the rear connector cover. Connect a USB cable to one of the USB connectors (both the standard large USB-A connector and the USB-C connector function as outputs). Once you connect the device to be charged, charging will begin automatically, indicated by the four-segment indicator next to the USB sockets.

When used as a power bank, you can simultaneously use the torch in 3, 30 and 150 lumen modes.

When charging is complete, disconnect the device being charged and replace the connector cover.

Warning

Do not disassemble sealed parts of the torch yourself, as this will void the warranty.

Use the control button lock when carrying the torch in luggage or a pocket, and also when storing it.
