The rechargeable Fenix E05R torch, despite its miniature dimensions of less than 7 cm and weight of only 24 grammes, boasts surprising power of up to 400 lumens (ANSI), which in BURST mode can illuminate up to 64 metres away. These specifications are achieved thanks to the powerful XP-G2 S3 LED with a lifespan of 50,000 hours of operation. It is powered by a built-in Li-pol rechargeable battery with a capacity of 320 mAh, which charges via a micro-USB connector directly in the torch. With this capacity it can operate in the lowest mode for up to 30 hours. High quality construction, durability and waterproofing to IP68 standard are of course included. Four light modes, which are easily cycled through with a button on the side of the torch, make this light an excellent companion for everyday carry. Attached to your keys, in a pocket, bag or rucksack, it certainly will not take up much space.

Use

• Switching the torch on or off is done by holding the button for 0.5 seconds.
• Further short presses cycle through the light modes 3 - 25 - 150 lumens.
• To activate BURST mode at 400 lumens, hold the button for more than 1.2 seconds.
• When you release the button, the torch switches to the lowest light mode.
• The control button can be locked to prevent accidental activation, for example when transporting in luggage. Press the control button twice quickly (within 0.5 seconds). The torch will flash twice in the lowest light mode, indicating it is locked.
• To unlock, press the button twice quickly again; the torch will flash twice again and is unlocked.
• Overheat protection - due to the torch's miniature dimensions and high power in the highest modes, the torch automatically reduces brightness once it exceeds 60 °C. After the temperature drops, the highest modes can be activated again.
• Charging
  • Unscrew the waterproof nut that covers the micro-USB connector.
  • Then connect the charging cable to a computer USB port, USB mains adapter or car charger.
  • During charging, the indicator LED on the torch glows red; when fully charged it glows green.
  • Standard charging time for a fully discharged torch is 1 hour.

Warning

Do not disassemble sealed parts yourself, as this will void the warranty. If the torch flashes or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons: The battery is discharged, charge it.
