For work, travel and the outdoors, a flashlight that fits in your pocket yet delivers the output of a large searchlight comes in handy. The Fenix E40R reaches up to 5000 lumens and a 242-metre throw in its short-term Turbo mode, and runs for up to 89.5 hours in its economy mode. The 21700 battery with a capacity of 5500 mAh is included.
Instant Turbo with the toggle switch
The toggle switch is used for lockout, switching on and instant Turbo activation – simply press and hold it, and when you release it the flashlight returns to normal mode. The electronic button cycles through four regular output levels and a 2500-lumen strobe. In the locked position the flashlight will not switch on accidentally in your pocket or luggage.
Fast charging and practical details
The sealed USB-C port on the side supports fast charging at up to 20 W, and a fully depleted battery charges in about 1.5 hours. A ring-shaped indicator shows the battery status, a magnet in the tail cap lets you attach the flashlight to iron objects, and the clip makes carrying easy.
