The rechargeable pistol LED torch Fenix GL19R V2.0 is designed specifically for use on short firearms. It delivers top-tier light output of 1200 ANSI lumens with a beam distance of up to 420 metres. The torch is powered by a single Fenix 18350 1100 mAh Li-ion rechargeable battery, which charges directly in the torch via a USB-C connector on its side and is included in the packaging. The torch features simplified ambidextrous operation (for right-handed and left-handed users). The GL19R V2.0 model comes with three switch lengths (universal – factory-installed, shortened and extended versions), which can also be combined (a different switch length can be used on each side of the torch according to personal preference). Mounting on a weapon rail is simple and requires no tools – the torch slides onto the weapon rail and is secured with a lever. It can be attached to Picatinny MIL-STD-1913 and GLOCK standard weapon rails (may not fit slimline category firearms, for example Glock 30 model). It fits the service firearms of the Slovak Police (CZ 75D). The torch is therefore suitable for professionals, sport and hobby shooters and airsoft users.

All torch parameters (light output, battery runtime, water resistance and beam distance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Operating the Fenix GL19R V2.0 torch

From the factory, there may be an insulating cover inside the torch on the rechargeable battery. Before first use, remove it from the battery.

For momentary activation, move the rear switch to the upper position and hold it. When released, the switch returns to the centre position and the torch switches off.

For constant illumination, move the rear switch to the lower position. Move it back to the centre position to switch the torch off.

Charging the torch – flip open the rubber cover of the charging connector and connect it to a computer, mains USB adapter or car USB adapter using the supplied USB-C cable (not included in packaging). You can also use any mobile phone charger with a USB-C connector for charging. During charging, the indicator LED on the side of the torch glows red; when fully charged, it glows green. Charging a fully discharged rechargeable battery takes approximately 2 hours. The Li-ion rechargeable battery used does not suffer from memory effect, so the torch can be charged at any time.

Battery replacement – unscrew the torch head and insert the battery with the positive pole facing outwards (towards the head). Then screw the head back on fully.

Intelligent overheat protection – if the torch temperature exceeds 60 °C, the output will automatically reduce. Once the temperature drops below 55 °C, the output will gradually increase again.

Warning

• Use only quality rechargeable batteries to prevent damage to the torch, for example due to battery leakage.
• When using the torch on a firearm, observe all safety rules.
• Insert batteries with the positive pole facing towards the torch head.
• If the torch flashes, glows dimly or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
  • The rechargeable battery is discharged – replace it or charge it.
  • The contacts inside the torch are dirty – clean them with cotton wool soaked in alcohol.

Five-year warranty on the torch, two-year warranty on the rechargeable battery.
