Ultra-lightweight and powerful rechargeable head torch Fenix HL12R V2.0 will illuminate you with a light output of up to 500 lumens and a beam distance of 125 metres. Despite weighing less than 73 grammes, it conceals an integrated 950 mAh rechargeable battery with convenient USB-C charging built into the light body. The light source is a modern Luminus SST-20 LED with a cooler light tone (daylight white) and one red LED.

A total of 6 power modes are available, including red flashing and steady red light. The head torch maintains water-repellent protection to IP66 standard, so it will easily withstand heavy rain. Use

Switching on/off and changing modes - the white reflector is switched on by holding the right button (approximately 0.5s), the reflector with red light is switched on by holding the left button (0.5s). Between white and red light, you can easily switch even when the head torch is on by pressing the button of the opposite reflector that is not in use. Light modes are changed by briefly pressing the button of the lit reflector. The light switches off again by holding the respective button for 0.5 seconds.

Locking/unlocking - to prevent accidental activation, for example when transporting in luggage - in the off state, press both buttons and hold for at least 3 seconds, then the head torch will flash, indicating it is locked. To unlock, hold both buttons again for three seconds.

Memory of the last set power mode - the head torch has memory and will switch on in the last set power mode of the respective reflector.

Charging - flip off the rubber cover on the back of the head torch and connect the USB-C charging cable to the charging port of the head torch. After charging is complete, replace the dust cover. The typical charging time is approximately 2.5 hours with a 5 V/1 A USB source for a completely discharged head torch. During charging, the head torch can only be used in low mode of any reflector. During the charging process, four indicators gradually light up and flash. Four continuously lit indicators mean charging is complete.

Battery charge status indication - After briefly pressing either button (the head torch must be off), the LED battery status indicator between the buttons activates. Four lit LEDs mean the battery is charged to 80-100%, three lit 60-80%, two 40-60%, one 20-40% and one flashing means the battery is charged to less than 20%.

Intelligent overheat protection - when using the head torch on high power modes for extended periods, a large amount of heat accumulates. When the head torch reaches a temperature of 55 °C or higher, it automatically reduces power by several lumens to lower the temperature. When the temperature drops below 55 °C, the power gradually increases again.

Low battery warning - If the battery voltage drops below the set level, the head torch automatically switches to a lower mode until it reaches the lowest power mode. After reaching the lowest power mode, the head torch flashes 3 times every five minutes to remind you to recharge the battery in time.
