Running rechargeable head torch Fenix HL32R-T is characterised by low weight and a unique design with two reflectors. The main reflector creates a well-focused light beam with output of 800 lumens and beam distance of up to 132 metres. The second reflector with output of 200 lumens has a very wide and smooth light pattern with beam distance of 30 metres, and also has a warmer light tone (neutral white). The advantage of this light tone is more natural and higher-contrast colour rendering not only in nature. Control of both LEDs is independent of each other (the beams cannot be combined). Power is supplied by one Li-ion rechargeable battery ARB-LP1900 with capacity of 1900 mAh, which is included in the packaging and charges via a modern USB-C connector directly in the head torch. The battery can be removed and in an emergency replaced with three standard AAA batteries (these cannot be charged in the head torch).

The head torch body is made from lightweight magnesium alloy and its design is fully dust-proof and water-resistant according to standard IP66 and also impact-resistant to drops from a height of 2 metres. Like other trail head torch models from Fenix, the HL32R-T is equipped with a wide strap with a new Sport Fit System with a rotating wheel for easy adjustment of strap length. You can quickly and comfortably tighten the head torch on your head with one hand. The strap is perforated and fitted with reflective elements, which ensure good passive visibility when running on the road. Thanks to its lighter fabric weight and design, the head torch is particularly interesting for trail running. In addition, it is also suitable for other sports activities (hiking, climbing, camping, ski running, fishing...). It will reliably serve you well in every situation.

All head torch parameters (light output, operating time on batteries, water resistance, beam distance and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with standard ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Use of Fenix HL32R-T head torch

The distance reflector is switched on by holding the right button (approximately 0.5s) and always starts in the last used mode. The wide reflector is switched on by holding the left button (0.5s) and always starts in the lowest mode. Light functions are switched by briefly pressing the respective button. Both reflectors cannot be switched on at the same time. The head torch is switched off by holding either button (approximately 0.5s).

Battery charge status indication - after briefly pressing either button (head torch must be switched off), the LED battery charge status indicator between the buttons is activated. Four lit LEDs mean the battery is charged to 80-100%, three lit 60-80%, two 40-60%, one indicates 20-40% and one flashing means the battery is charged to less than 20%.

Control buttons can be locked to prevent accidental activation, for example when transporting in luggage - in the switched-off state, press one or both buttons and hold them for at least 3 seconds, then the head torch will flash, indicating it is locked. To unlock, you need to hold both buttons again for three seconds.

Overheat protection - if the head torch temperature exceeds 65°C, it will automatically reduce power in gradual steps until the temperature stabilises. As soon as the temperature drops below 65°C, you will be able to switch to higher power modes again.

Charging - flip open the USB-C connector cover and connect the supplied charging cable, connect the other end of the cable to a computer, power bank or USB mains adapter or car adapter (not included in the packaging). During charging, the status LEDs show the charging progress. After charging is complete, all four light up. Charging a completely discharged battery takes approximately 3 hours. During charging, the head torch can only be used in low power mode.

Using the rotating wheel to adjust head strap length - To tighten the strap, press the wheel and rotate it clockwise. To loosen the strap, pull the wheel out and loosen the strap.

Warning

• Do not disassemble sealed parts yourself, this will void the warranty.
• Use only the original Li-ion ARB-LP1900 battery, in case of using single-use AAA batteries, do not attempt to charge them in the head torch
• If the head torch flashes, does not switch to higher power modes or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
• Battery is discharged – charge it or replace it.
• Contacts inside the head torch are dirty – clean them with cotton wool soaked in alcohol.
