The rechargeable Fenix HP25R V2.0 head torch features two light beams with output up to 1600 lumens - a long-range reflector with a high-performance Luminus SST-40 LED creates a well-focused light beam with a beam distance of up to 290 metres, and a second reflector with a powerful Cree XP-G3 S4 LED has a very wide and smooth light pattern to a distance of 50 metres. The light output of the long-range reflector is up to 1600 lumens, the wide-beam reflector offers a maximum output of 400 lumens with a neutral light colour. Control of both LEDs is independent, light from both reflectors can be combined freely and achieve a light output of up to 1600 lumens (when both reflectors are switched on simultaneously, their maximum output is 1200 + 400 lumens). The long-range reflector offers 5 light modes and the wide beam three. The head torch is additionally fitted with a red LED with an output of 5 lumens, which can be used in an emergency to transmit an SOS signal. Power is supplied by one Li-ion rechargeable battery 21700 with a capacity of 5000 mAh, which is included in the package and charges via a modern USB-C connector directly in the light. This battery is housed in a case on the back of the head and the head torch is thus well balanced on the head. The head torch is made of hardened aluminium and durable plastics, its construction is fully dust-proof and water-resistant to standard IP66 and also impact-resistant to drops from a height of 2 metres. It is also equipped with a battery life extension function. The HP25R V2.0 head torch replaces the older HP25R version and thanks to its shared high performance and battery life parameters, it is suitable for anyone who wants a powerful and reliable companion in extreme conditions. It will serve excellently for work, for example for rescue workers, but also for sports enthusiasts, climbers, hikers and other outdoor enthusiasts.

All parameters of the head torch (light output, battery runtime, water resistance, beam distance and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with standard ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

• Uses Li-ion rechargeable battery 21700 with a capacity of 5000 mAh (included in the package). Alternatively, a Li-ion rechargeable battery type 18650 can be used for power, but you will need to purchase the ALF-18 adapter separately.

Use of HP25R V2.0 head torch

• From the factory there may be an insulating cover on the battery. Remove it from the battery before first use.
• The long-range reflector is switched on by holding the right button (approximately 0.5s), the wide reflector or red light is switched on by holding the left button (0.5s).
• Pressing the right button cycles through the long-range reflector modes in order: 50, 150, 400, 1000, 1600 lumens.
• Pressing the left button cycles through the wide reflector and red light modes in order: white 5, 150, 400 lumens, red 5 lumens, SOS signal.
• Both reflectors are switched off by holding the respective button and after switching off, the head torch remembers the last set mode for that button.
• Both reflectors can also be switched on simultaneously.
• Battery charge status indication - after a short press of either button (the head torch must be switched off), the LED battery status indicator between the buttons activates. If green light is on, it means the battery is charged to 85-100%, if green light flashes, it means charge is 50-85%. If red light comes on, the battery is charged to 25-50% and if it starts flashing, the battery status is critical and the head torch is charged to less than 25%.
• The control buttons can be locked to prevent accidental activation, for example when transporting in luggage - in the off state, press both buttons and hold them for at least 3 seconds, then the head torch will flash red, indicating it is locked. To unlock, hold both buttons again for three seconds.
• Overheat protection - if the head torch temperature exceeds 60 °C, it will automatically begin to reduce output in gradual steps until the temperature stabilises. As soon as the temperature drops below 60 °C, the output will gradually increase again. Low battery warning - the head torch gradually automatically reduces the number of available power modes. With completely discharged batteries, only a single lowest mode will be available. If the battery status indicator starts flashing during operation, the battery is almost discharged.
• Charging - open the USB-C connector cover on the battery case and connect the supplied charging cable, connect the other end of the cable to a computer, power bank or USB adapter to the mains or USB adapter to a car (not included in the package). During charging, the LED on the battery case lights red. After full charging, it will remain lit green. Charging a completely discharged battery takes approximately 4 hours.

Warning

Do not disassemble sealed parts yourself, this will void the warranty. Use only quality Li-ion rechargeable batteries for power. If the head torch flashes, does not switch to higher power modes or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons: Batteries are almost discharged - replace them or charge the battery. Contacts in the battery holder are dirty - clean them with a cotton bud soaked in alcohol.
