Rechargeable hunting torch Fenix HT18R V2.0 is among the tactical torches with the greatest beam distance in the range. Its powerful reflector offers a beam distance of up to 1100 metres and a light output of up to 3700 lumens (ANSI). The light source is a high-performance LED Luminus SFT-90 with a lifespan of 50,000 hours. It is powered by one Li-ion 21700 type rechargeable battery with a capacity of 6000 mAh (Fenix ARB-L21-6000 rechargeable battery is included in the packaging). The Fenix HT18R V2.0 LED torch has a total of seven lighting modes (four steady and three strobe) with a runtime of up to 87 hours. On the side of the torch is a tactical dual switch enabling momentary activation by pressing, instant activation of maximum power and rapid strobe activation from the off state. The torch charges via a modern USB-C connector. Compatible with the torch are mounts for long weapons and the Fenix AER-05 cable switch. The Fenix HT18R V2.0 is a top-tier light tool for professionals, hunters and all users requiring the longest possible beam distance.
All torch parameters (light output, battery runtime, water resistance, beam distance and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Operation of Fenix HT18R V2.0 hunting torch
An insulating cover may be on the rechargeable battery from the factory. Remove it before first use.
Switching on/off and changing lighting modes – press the round tactical switch for momentary illumination; when released, the torch will turn off. Press the tactical switch fully to switch the torch on permanently. When the torch is on, power levels are changed by pressing the rectangular function switch. Holding the function switch for 0.5 seconds activates the strobe modes.
Instant Strobe – from the off state, press and hold the rectangular function switch; when released, the torch will turn off.
Instant Turbo mode – from any state (on/off), hold the round tactical switch for 0.5 seconds. When released, the torch will return to the previously used power level. If it was off, it will turn off when released.
Lock function – hold both switches simultaneously for 3 seconds. When locked, the torch will flash twice. When unlocked, it will illuminate in the last used steady lighting mode.
Memory for last set power mode – the torch remembers the last used power mode except for strobe modes. On the next switch-on, it will activate in the last used steady lighting mode.
Charging – slide the charging connector cover on the side of the torch and connect the USB-C charging cable to the charging port. After charging is complete, slide the cover back. The indicator lights red during charging and turns green when fully charged. The torch cannot be used during charging. The typical charging time for a fully discharged ARB-L21-6000 battery is approximately 1.5 hours using a 9 V / 3 A USB source, or 2.5 hours using a 5 V / 3 A source.
Battery charge status indication – each time the torch is switched on, the indicator LED activates for three seconds. If the indicator LED lights green, the battery is charged to more than 85%. Green flashing means 50–85% capacity. If it lights red, it is charged to 25–50%. Red flashing indicates that less than 25% battery capacity remains.
Intelligent overheat protection – if the torch temperature exceeds 60 °C, the power will automatically reduce. As soon as the temperature drops below 60 °C, the power will gradually increase again.
Low battery warning – if the voltage drops below the preset level, the torch will reduce brightness to a lower level. After reaching the lowest power level, the battery charge status indicator will flash red to remind you to recharge or replace the battery.
Warning
- Use only quality 21700 Li-ion rechargeable batteries with protective electronics.
- Insert batteries with the positive pole facing the torch head.
- If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the torch will be properly protected against water.
- If the torch flashes, does not switch to higher power modes or does not illuminate, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The rechargeable battery is almost discharged – charge it or replace it.
- The contacts inside the torch are dirty – clean them with a cotton bud soaked in alcohol.
- The head, body or rear of the torch are loose – tighten them.
