The Fenix LR35R rechargeable torch delivers extreme light output of up to 10,000 lumens (ANSI) and a wide smooth beam with a beam distance of up to 500 metres. The torch is powered by two high-discharge Li-ion rechargeable batteries of type 21700 (included in the package), which can be charged directly in the torch via a modern USB-C connector. The exceptional light output was achieved using six high-performance LED Luminus SST-40. There are five brightness levels available and a blinding strobe mode for emergency situations. Thanks to the side-by-side battery arrangement, the torch is surprisingly compact and fits perfectly in your hand. Operation is convenient and quick using a single side button. You can also lock the torch to prevent accidental activation during transport. The torch is particularly suitable for movement in difficult terrain, search operations, rescue work, site security and will serve well anywhere you need to illuminate large areas brightly.

All torch specifications (light output, runtime on batteries, water resistance, beam distance and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

• The torch is powered by two Li-ion rechargeable batteries 21700 with a capacity of 4,000 mAh (Fenix ARB-L21-4000P), which are included in the package. Only high-discharge Li-ion rechargeable batteries capable of handling up to 15 A current draw should be used in the torch. Otherwise the highest mode will not be available (weak batteries may trigger the short-circuit protection).
• Power in the highest modes is regulated by overheat protection.
• Batteries can be charged via the fast USB-C connector directly in the torch.
• Charging time with a powerful USB power source is approximately 3.5 hours. With weaker sources it may be longer.

Using the Fenix LR35R torch

The torch can be switched on or off by holding the side button for half a second. You can then change the brightness modes cyclically from lowest to highest by pressing the button briefly. Holding the button for 1.2 seconds activates strobe mode, from which you can return to the previously selected mode by pressing the button briefly. The control button can be locked to prevent accidental activation, for example during transport – press the control button twice quickly (within 0.5 seconds). To unlock, press the button twice quickly again. Unwanted activation can also be prevented by loosening the torch body. Intelligent overheat protection – when the temperature exceeds 65°C, the torch automatically gradually reduces power; when it cools below 65°C, power automatically increases again.

Charging – flip open the charging connector cover on the side of the torch and connect the supplied cable to the USB-C connector; connect the other end of the cable to a computer, USB mains adapter, USB car adapter or power bank (not included in the package). During charging, the LED in the button glows red and turns green when fully charged. Charging completely discharged batteries takes approximately 3.5 hours when using a 3A power source. During charging, the light can only be used in the lowest mode. Battery capacity indication – when the torch is switched on, the indicator in the button glows for 3 seconds. If the indicator LED glows green, the batteries are charged to more than 85%. Green flashing means 50–85% capacity. If it glows red, they are charged to 25–50%. Red flashing indicates that less than 25% capacity remains.
Low battery warning – the torch automatically gradually switches to the lowest power mode and the indicator LED in the button starts flashing red.

Warning
Do not disassemble sealed parts of the torch yourself, as this will void the warranty. Never use batteries with different charge levels or different capacities. Use only high-discharge Li-ion rechargeable batteries of type 21700 with protective electronics, otherwise the torch may not function correctly. If the protective rubber O-rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The O-rings should also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the torch will be properly protected against water.
If the torch is flashing, not switching to higher power modes, or not lighting up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:

• Batteries are almost discharged – replace them or charge them.
• Contacts inside the torch are dirty – clean them with a cotton bud soaked in alcohol.
• The torch body is loose – apply lubricant to the sealing O-rings and tighten.
