Ultra-powerful rechargeable torch Fenix LR50R V2.0 delivers extreme light output of up to 18,000 lumens (ANSI) and a beam distance of an impressive 846 metres. It achieves this performance through six powerful Luminus SST70 LEDs with a lifespan of 50,000 hours of operation. These are now supplemented by a powerful 10 W UV LED with black filter for professional inspections and a red LED whose light does not disrupt eye adaptation to darkness. The torch is powered by a massive Li-ion rechargeable battery with an impressive capacity of 32,000 mAh (115.2 Wh), which is integrated into the handle. An innovative user interface combines an electronic button and a rotary switch for smooth power adjustment. In real time, an intelligent OLED display also keeps you informed of the torch's status.

The torch features two hidden USB-C charging ports. Through these you can not only charge it rapidly (supports simultaneous fast charging via both ports), but you can also use it as a high-power power bank and charge other devices from it (power support up to 45 W). Thanks to smooth power adjustment you can set the brightness precisely to your requirements. Despite its massive power and enormous battery capacity, the torch maintains reasonable dimensions – length is 21.8 centimetres and weight is 1,150 grammes including the battery. For comfortable carrying it is equipped with an ergonomic non-slip shoulder strap with a rescue whistle. This uncompromising search torch is suitable above all for rescue and reconnaissance operations, security of large facilities, professional inspection deployment (thanks to UV light) or for the most demanding torch enthusiasts.

All torch parameters (light output, battery runtime, water resistance, beam distance and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Fenix LR50R V2.0 torch specifications

• The light source consists of six top-tier white Luminus SST70 LEDs with a lifespan of 50,000 hours, one UV LED SBT10X (365 nm, radiant power 10 W) with black filter and one red OSRAM/KR CSLNM1.23 LED.
• A total of 8 lighting modes. The torch features smooth power adjustment (except for strobe and UV), the stated values are reference measurement points:
• • Combined wide + distance mode: smoothly adjustable power 18,000 to 100 lumens with runtime 3.1–140.7 hours.
  • Distance reflector: smoothly adjustable power 9,000 to 50 lumens with runtime 3.3–183.8 hours.
  • Wide reflector: smoothly adjustable power 9,000 to 50 lumens with runtime 3.3–195 hours.
  • Strobe modes: SOS 50 lumens – Strobe 18,000 lumens.
  • Red reflector: smoothly adjustable power 210 to 5 lumens with runtime 21.5–670 hours, red flashing (also smoothly adjustable within this range).
  • UV light 365 nm: radiant flux up to 10,000 mW (6 hours) for large-area and precise UV detection.

• It uses a special high-capacity Li-ion rechargeable battery pack 46950 with a capacity of 32,000 mAh/3.6 V (115.2 Wh) integrated into the handle.
• Charging and power bank function occur via two hidden USB-C ports. The orange port supports super-fast charging/discharging up to 45 W (15 V / 3 A), the black port up to 18 W (9 V / 2 A). You can use both ports simultaneously.
• When both ports are connected at full power, the charging time from zero to 100% is just 3 hours with an adequately powerful USB power source. The torch supports PD3.0, PD2.0 and QC2.0 standards.
• Intelligently OLED display shows the current light output in lumens, remaining battery capacity in percentage and estimated runtime. The charge indicator is also on the rear panel of the torch.
• Digitally regulated for constant brightness, equipped with intelligent overheat protection.
• Low battery emergency mode: When capacity drops below 5%, a warning icon will flash across the entire OLED display and the power of all white and red modes will automatically lock to emergency 50 lumens.
• Proximity sensor in the reflector automatically reduces power to 50 lumens when the torch approaches an object to less than approximately 6 centimetres for longer than 1.5 seconds (prevents damage to the object from intense light). This function can be toggled on/off as desired.
• Beam distance 846 metres (178,864 cd) at maximum power.
• Last mode memory: the torch will turn on in the last selected mode (Distance/Wide/Red/UV), **but does not remember the set brightness level**.

Use

On/off: When the torch is locked, turn the switch clockwise to turn it on to white light. To turn off and lock, turn the rotary switch anticlockwise to the stop. With the torch off or locked, press the electronic button twice quickly to turn on coloured light. When the torch is unlocked, press and hold the electronic button for 0.5 s to turn it on/off.

Mode switching: With the torch on, press the button once to cycle through Distance → Wide → Combined mode. To enter Red and UV light modes press the button twice quickly (in the off or locked state). Subsequent presses switch: Red light → Red flashing → UV light.

Smooth power adjustment: In any of the white or red light modes, brightness can be smoothly adjusted using the rotary switch.

Strobe and SOS: In the unlocked state, hold the button for 1.2 seconds to activate Strobe. A short press then switches to SOS. Holding longer (1.2 s) exits strobe modes.

Torch lock: By turning the rotary switch to the left to the stop (anticlockwise) the torch turns off and locks against accidental activation (e.g. in luggage). To unlock simply turn it to the right.

Intelligent proximity sensor: If the torch reflector approaches an obstacle to a distance of approximately 6 cm for longer than 1.5 seconds, power automatically reduces to 50 lumens. As soon as you move the obstacle away, power gradually returns. The function can be deactivated: with the torch locked, hold the button for 6 seconds, the torch will flash 8 times (function off). To reactivate repeat the procedure (torch flashes 2 times).

Overheat protection: During extended operation at high power the torch heats up. Once it exceeds 65 °C, the electronics smoothly reduce power for safe cooling. After the temperature drops below 65 °C, power gradually increases again to the original level.

Charging

• Unscrew the charging connector cover at the end of the torch and connect the USB-C charging cable to one or both USB-C ports of the torch. After charging is complete, screw the cover back on.
• Normal charging time is approximately 3 hours when both USB-C ports are connected and charging at maximum power of 45 + 18 W. The orange port is for fast 45 W charging/discharging, the black port provides 18 W.
• During charging, a charging icon and charge level indicator are displayed on the OLED display. The charge level is also displayed on the green indicators at the end of the torch.
• If you store the torch for long periods, charge it every four months to maintain optimal battery performance.
• USB-C ports support PD3.0, PD2.0 and all other common fast charging protocols.
• Use only a certified USB charging adapter that meets the safety standards of the country or region where this product is sold.
• During charging and discharging the torch can be used, however the maximum power of white light is limited to 900 lumens.

Power bank function (discharging)

• Turn off the torch, unscrew the USB-C port cover and connect the USB device you want to charge.
• During discharging the OLED display automatically lights up, showing the current battery percentage and a discharging icon. 10 green indicators at the end of the torch gradually dim, signalling decreasing capacity.
• After discharging is complete, disconnect the charging cable and screw the rear cover back on tightly, which hides and seals the ports again.
• Compatible fast discharging protocols: PD, QC etc.
• For safety reasons, the power bank function automatically stops once the torch battery voltage drops below 2.8 V.

Warning

• Do not disassemble sealed parts of the torch yourself (except for replacing the battery handle), this will void the warranty and may cause damage.
• UV RADIATION WARNING: The torch emits strong ultraviolet light (10 W power) which can damage eyesight or skin. When working with UV light always wear protective glasses that filter UV radiation and protect your skin. Never shine the light into your own or anyone else's eyes. Reflections from smooth surfaces can be dangerous.
• The torch generates enormous amounts of heat. Do not touch the head of the running torch and prevent it from coming into contact with flammable materials. Do not leave the torch running unattended.
• If the protective rubber O-rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The O-rings also need to be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules the torch will be properly protected against water.
• If the torch flashes, does not switch to higher power modes or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
  • The battery is discharged, charge it.
  • The torch is locked – turn the switch to the unlocked position.
  • Contacts are dirty – clean them with a cotton bud soaked in alcohol.
